About
Wall Street Economists

Economic Predictions Research Project (EPRP) is an academic
not-for-profit research. The results of the research are
published on Wall Street Economists Institute website for free public
access and comments. The content of this research is licenses for
free under the creative commons
license. The goal of the
project is to promote the development and accuracy of economic
research and financial journalism.
- The project has three planned phases. In the first phase, we
will publish information about the top economists who predicted
the financial crisis and the ensuing economic crisis of 2008-2009.
- In the second phase, we will attempt to track economic predictions
and forecasts from top think tanks, economists and analysts on Wall Street.
- In the third phase, will study the most influential thinking
about government policies and how they impact the economy, financial markets, businesses and jobs.
The content of this website is a work in progress. The project
completion date is Dec 31, 2012. In 2011 we will focus on the US economy and financial markets.
We believe there are many other international economists and
investors who have valuable insights and ideas. We are looking for
more information to help validate and improve on our
research findings. We invite all of our readers to participate. If
you believe there are experts to include in our research, please email us
links to their online bios and their related body of knowledge that can be published on our website.

Who are we?
Wall Street Economists Institute is a new non-profit
project. The project started by two researchers
studying in the field economics and financial journalism. We were
disillusioned by our professors and the academic curriculum at our
universities. Many research professors have gotten lazy and some of
them take the ideas of hardworking research students and adapt them
as their own work. We do not want to demonize any
particular professor or university. We just want to prove that we
can conduct better
independent research and publish the results for public awareness
and education.
We are looking for help from other students and professionals. We
need assistance in covering additional economists, investment
advisors, opinion leaders and their forecasts. If you have comments,
corrections or some valuable information to help us, please email Angela
Mokovich or Sara C. at

Who can participate in this project?
Anyone can contribute to the project - students and professionals
alike. Our intention is to make this website an open research
forum for financial journalists, economists, investors, analysts, experts,
investment advisors and researchers. If we like the quality of your
contribution, we will include your contribution and credit you for
it. If you are interested in becoming a regular contributor or an
editor, please send us links to your
online bio and sample writings (blogs, articles, etc). We are also looking for a webmaster to help us with wiki setup and management.
Note: We
are students. We do not have a lot of money, so all work is on
voluntary basis and free of charge

Can you advertise on this website?
Yes. If we like your work, we will post your banner or your link
(website or blog) on
our website for free. We do not charge money for
advertising. We aim to spread the knowledge. If you have
something valuable to offer we will promote it for free. Also, if you like our work, please help us promote it by quoting us and
linking to our website
